What we do

We provide locally-based services for children living in the south east of Ireland. This includes:

 

  • Regional assessment service for children with physical disabilities from Waterford, Wexford, South Tipperary, Carlow and Kilkenny
  • Local treatment service for children with physical disabilities and developmental delay in Waterford city and east Waterford

 

The structure and organisation of CRC Waterford provides therapists from the CRC and the HSE with the opportunity to work together. This gives the best treatment options to children with physical disability.

 

The availability of specialist services working alongside locally-based intervention services is in keeping with national policy and the progression of the framework for children’s disability services.

 

Many of the CRC’s specialist clinics are also based in Waterford.
