Sweet Times in the CRC with Masterchef Ireland judge, Nick Munier

Staff from CRC Clontarf and adult service users from our Training and Development and Rehabilitative Training Centres got a wonderful surprise today as Nick Munier, celebrity judge of the hugely popular Masterchef Ireland called into CRC Clontarf.

Nick arrived to judge the very special baking competition at the CRC’s annual Cafe Noel celebration which saw over 20 staff members battle it out to see who would be crowned the CRC’s best baker. Second prize for exceptional presentation went to Aleksandra Kozka for her very creative Christmas cake but the first prize for taste went to Isobel Byrne for her take on a very festive Galette des Rois.

The theme of Cafe Noel this year was “Toys from your childhood” and was organised by Training and Development and Rehabilitative Training Centres. To get in the festive spirit many of our staff and service users dressed up and the centre was like a toy shop gone by with pac man, lego, ninja turtles, guess who and twister being just some of the characters who turned up. A fantastic end to another year at the CRC! Happy Christmas everyone!
