International Day of Persons with Disabilities

International Day of Persons with Disabilities aims to promote the rights and well being of people living with disabilities in all areas of society and to raise awareness about disabilities.

The CRC is one of the largest organisation’s in Ireland for people with disabilities.  We provide a full range of services to over 4000 people with disabilities throughout the country. We support their families and carers.  We are always seeking ways to develop our services and to respond to the changing needs of families and clients who attend our centres every day.

It is our vision that people with disabilities achieve their potential and live full lives as equal and valued citizens.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities takes place on Saturday the 3rd of December and we wanted to create an event that not only fundraises for the vital services we offer but that also really creates an awareness and a real understanding of what it is like to have a disability.
