EACD 2026

The European Academy of Childhood-onset Disability (EACD) meeting will take place in Galway in 2026 through a collaborative partnership between The National University of Ireland Galway, Children’s Health Ireland, Central Remedial Clinic and Enable Ireland. The conference theme ‘Mol an Óige agus Tiocfaidh Siad’ (Encourage the Young and they will Flourish) sets the scene for a diverse national and international programme of speakers, sharing knowledge and experience in the area of childhood-onset disability. Issues that matter most to people with disabilities will be kept to the core of the meeting, using Canchild’s Six F’s of Disability as a guiding framework.
