European Academy of Childhood-onset Disability (EACD) 2026

We were honoured to co-host the European Academy of Childhood-onset Disability (EACD) Annual Meeting in Galway 2026 alongside our partners University of Galway, Enable Ireland, and Children’s Health Ireland.

With a truly world-class scientific programme, what made EACD Galway 2026  stand out was its focus on what matters most - the voices of those living with childhood-onset disability and their families living. Their lived experiences challenged us all to reflect, rethink, and commit to doing better.

A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed, participated, and helped make this event so impactful. We were also proud to see the launch of the #Every1Counts Hub — a national movement championing inclusion for people with childhood-onset disabilities.
