CRC Hydrotherapy Pool

The CRC Hydrotherapy Pool will be open for all CDNT and Primary Care Physiotherapists (Adult and Paediatric) to access with their clients.  This can involve Physiotherapists bringing a client or a group of clients to the CRC Hydrotherapy Pool and providing them with Aquatic Physiotherapy intervention. 

There is also an option for all Paediatric Physiotherapists to request support from our CRC Enhanced Complex Care Physiotherapists with the Aquatic Physiotherapy session.  This can be support with leading an Aquatic Physiotherapy session or supporting you with your Aquatic Physiotherapy session, e.g. giving you help with handling a complex client in the water or advice on strengthening activities or group activities. 

Please complete the referral form if you wish to access the hydrotherapy pool.  You will then be contacted by the ECC Physiotherapy Dept to discuss your referral and arrange your access to the hydrotherapy pool.  Informal queries can contact ECC Physiotherapy Dept on 01-8542222.

A referral can only be made by a Physiotherapist working in CDNT or PC

General Referral Criteria:

• Child or adult who attend primary care physiotherapy or CDNT

General Exclusion Criteria:

• Child or adult who is not medically fit for Aquatic Physiotherapy
• Child or adult who does not attend primary care physiotherapy or CDNT
