Neuromuscular Clinic

The neuromuscular clinic is a National Consultant led multidisciplinary service.  This service is for children up to 18 years who present with a neuromuscular disorder, including muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy, and other conditions.  Children with neuromuscular conditions need an integrated pathway of care and this clinic works with a variety of other CRC specialist services including orthopaedics and ATSS, in addition to services offered in the acute setting.  Support and advice to families, carers and local CDNTs is integral in ensuring that children are supported in their communities.
