Complex Feeding Clinic

The Complex Feeding Clinic (CFC) is a specialist service designed for children aged 2 to 18 years with neurodevelopmental conditions who are experiencing persistent and complex feeding difficulties. These challenges often involve medical, nutritional, developmental, and psychosocial factors, requiring a coordinated and multidisciplinary approach. Together, we provide comprehensive assessments and tailored support to help children, and their families navigate feeding challenges.

 

Our Team:

Paediatric Consultant, Dietitian, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist (OT), Nurse and Speech and Language Therapist (SLT).

General Referral Criteria:

General Referral Criteria:

  • 2-18 years old
  • Presence of a complex disability
  • Involved with a local team with evidence of universal or targeted supports related to feeding.
  • Evolving Complex feeding issues
  • Need for involvement of more than one discipline
  • Referral for 2nd opinion
  • Referral for clinical support and advice
